SarahCare® Centers strive to meet the needs of the following:
Frailty & Physical Dependence
Nursing assistants and other trained staff are always there to assist your family member in ambulating and moving through all of our activities throughout the day. Activities are adapted for specific physical challenges so that no one ever feels left out. Yes, seniors that are wheelchair bound are very welcomed in our centers.
Memory Impairment
Our centers provide a safe and secure environment for those with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. Our staff is well trained in behavior management techniques.
This training and our SarahCare Way philosophy that says “We try” results in our receiving referrals from other adult day care centers who often find the behaviors associated with this disease too challenging for their programs.
Stroke & Parkinson’s
More intensive assistance with personal care, eating, and bathing are provided by professional staff. Every center has a walk-in shower or whirlpool tub to assist with bathing. We are even able to provide care for those with feeding tubes in a respectful manner in the privacy of our nurse’s clinic.
Chronic Diseases
SarahCare® Centers strive to meet the needs of participants who need chronic care management. Observation, health monitoring, therapeutic diets, personal care (including bathing), medication administration and assistance with ambulation (wheelchairs welcome) are many of the ways we strive highest quality of care.
Isolation and Depression
SarahCare provides emotional support and social stimulation at a level designed to adapt to the needs of your family member. Thus, individual, small group activities, and special interest groups help your family members develop friendships and rediscover their interests at a pace that is comfortable for them.
