Thank you for visiting our center’s website.

General Overview:

SarahCare Adult Day Services offers a day program that provides respite for family members who care for loved ones at home. Its activities are differentiated for adults who need special assistance and peace of mind during the day. Our services allow participants to remain socially and physically active in a safe and friendly environment.

The Center is open Monday-Friday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Most of our participants attend 3-4 times a week, but other participants whose care-givers work full time attend 6 days a week. Our center includes a friendly, equal mix of men and women, so interaction is like a community center or large family.

Our Best Features:

The exceptional staff includes an experienced geriatric activity director, an activity coordinator, two registered nurses to dispense medication, and acvitivty aides.

Programs run continuously including: crafts, games, physical exercises, gardening, music sing-alongs, and outings to local parks and museums. Additional services include onsite podiatry expertise, beauty treatments, showers, and informational presentations on topics of general and specific interest, such as scrap-booking, local history, indoor gardening, and practical care tips.

A delicious hot meal, as well as a nutritional snack, are served daily. For participants who arrive in the morning a small breakfast is also provided.

SarahCare is conveniently located in Webster Groves. The center is at the Elm Ave. exit off of I-44. SarahCare transportation is available based on $2/mile. The courteous, professional service is door-to-door. For more information please contact Kathy Nohl.

Site Description:

All of our facilities and décor are new. We have a setting that is very home-like, distinctive, and clean — with lots of light, views of the outdoors (including an interstate highway and a freight-train line), an indoor garden, lovely furniture and appointments specially designed for the comfort and safety of seniors, and carpeting and hardwood floors.
