SarahCare of Snellville has the following special programming available for your loved one.
- Stepping Out with SarahCare – outtings to theatre, picnics, bowling, restaurant’s, shopping, co-sponsored events at Snellville Senior Center and much more!
- Intergenerational Programming – we work closely with neighborhood schools, Girl Scouts of America, the Explorer Program through Boy Scouts of America, Goddard School of Snellville, and local community advocates donating their time.
- Brain Fitness on HP Touchsmart – we use gamesforthebrain.com for individual brain stimulation.
- SarahCare on Vacation – we work closely with other SarahCare centers to provide Adult Day Services while your on vacation.
- SarahCare at Home – Coming Soon!

Funding
Funding Sources are available with SarahCare.
As you look at having SarahCare begin providing services for your family, you may have questions regarding assistance that may be available in the community.
SarahCare has an on-going affiliation with Aging Services of Georgia. SarahCare of Snellville is approved to accept medicaid through two waiver programs provided by the State of Georgia, that can assist in paying for adult day care services. CCSP, Community Care Waiver Program and the Source Program. Both can be applied for at our center.
SarahCare also has an affiliation with the Veteran’s Administration for VA benefits or Aid and Attendance.
The above mentioned programs each have criteria requirements that must be met prior to funding being granted. The Executive Director can help begin the process by making the referral.

Transportation
SarahCare© Adult Day Centers strive to make your life easier by providing transportation. SarahCare of Snellville contracts transportation through Angelic Wings Transportation Service. Transportation is provided from a participant’s home location to the SarahCare© Center. Our contracted transportation includes vans that are equipped to handle walkers as well as ambulatory participants. For wheelchair transportation, please give us a call at the center for the most appropriate recommendation to fit your needs.
Scheduling is comprised of personal choice, availability and location.

Ability Rehab – SarahCare has partnered with Ability Rehab to have the benefit of a professional exercise program and regular screening and the convenience of having Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy at the center.
SarahCare® ranges from $59 to $74 a day depending on the level of care. This includes nursing care, activities, and meals in our centers. That is $15,340 to $19,240 a year for SarahCare® compared to $43,472 for in-home care and $38,220 for assisted living, according to the 2010 Genworth Study of Long Term Care.
