Pet Therapy: Once a month on Friday, great volunteers from Midland’s Pet Therapy Group, bring dogs to visit our participants at the center. Provides a time for socialization and relaxation.
Devotion/Bible Study is offered at our center to help meet the spiritual needs of our participants, gives them a time to reflect, and share favorite passages.
Mini Spa Days (manicures/pedicures) and weekly nailcare: this provides a social time for not only the ladies, but the men as well. It is comforting, relaxing, and enjoyable to have your nails look great.
Funding
As you look at having SarahCare begin providing services to your family, you may have questions regarding financial assistance that may be available in your community.
SarahCare has an on-going affiliation with the Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging, Alzheimer’s Association, Respite Resources, Veteran’s Association, and the League Of Human Dignity. SarahCare Omaha also accepts the following:

The above mentioned programs each have criteria requirements that must be met prior to funding being granted. The Executive Director can help begin the process by making the referral.

SarahCare is here to help provide families with the assistance in caring for a loved one, to give them peace of mind.*

Catered Lunches
Provided by HyVee. Delicious meals=happy participants and good intake. We call our order in daily, so if your loved one would prefer an alternative, we can order that directly.
Daily Group Exercise: Provided in a structured environment, lead by a SarahCare staff member. Exercise is important for everyone, especially seniors to keep their muscles and joints in working order, a preventative measure with muscle/joint atrophy. Daily group exercise is one of our biggest hits with activities.
Health Assistance: Qualified Nurses, Medication Aids, and Certified Nurses Assistants provide daily supervision and health monitoring. This includes assistance with transfers, ambulation, personal cares, bathing, and incontinence cares. Weekly/monthly health monitoring includes: Blood Pressure, Pulse, Respiration, Temperature, and Weight. Medication administration is provided daily for those that require medications at the center, this includes: Diabetic Cares (accuchecks & sliding scale insulin) and G-Tube Cares (feeding & flushes), other injections as approved.
Ancillary Services Offered: Podiatry (Dr. Weremy), Physical, Occupation, and Speech Therapy (various organizations), Dental (Mobile Dentistry, MapleView Dentistry, Dr. Garro), Beauty/Barber Services (Salon Fusion), Lab Services (Physicians Lab), Take Home Meals (HyVee)
Transportation
SarahCare© Adult Day Centers strive to make your life easier by assisting with transportation through quality transportation services.Our center works with professional transportation services that provide regular and wheelchair van service. Drivers will assist your loved one to and from the door at your home and SarahCare.
