Tynetta Alston, Owner and Executive Director
Tynetta has over thirty years of industrial, consumer products and health care related experience. For over twenty years she specialized in market development and sales to managed care companies and state governments and will play a leading active role in multiple functions as owner. Tynetta has a degree in Chemical Engineering from Wayne State University, and a MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Elizabeth Rapp-Steltz Director/Home Care Coordinator
Beth is responsible for directing operations at our center. She also coordinates in home care for those participants who desire assistance in their home early in the morning or later in the evening and on weekends and holidays. Beth joined SarahCare in 2009 and has a deep commitment for working with and caring for the elderly. She has a wealth of eldercare experience working for St. Luke’s Hospital, Blough Nursing Home and Bayada Nursing over the past twenty years. Beth lives in Fountain Hill with her husband Ed and her son.
Jamie Mullen Activities Director
Jamie develops and manages our multi-track activities program to meets the social, emotional, physical and creative needs and desires of every participant.
Marlene O’Donnell L.P.N. Director of Nursing
Marlene oversees all of the healthcare aspects of our center. She graduated from Lehigh Carbon Community College with an Associate in Arts degree where she also earned her practical nursing certificate. Marlene has extensive nursing experience including home health care nursing while with the Visiting Nurse Association of Eastern Pennsylvania and at New Seasons Assisted Living in Allentown where she was also their Director of Arts & Entertainment.. Marlene has a keen passion for working with older adults. Marlene and her husband Kenny live in Palmerton.
Rosemarie Lozinger R.N. Center Nurse
Rose graduated from Allentown General Hospital School of Nursing. She worked at Allentown General Hospital, Muhlenburg Hospital, Center County Hospital Belfont Pa, Northampton Osteopathic, Gracedale Nursing Home, Phoebe Nursing Home, Portamedic Health infomation Services. She lives with her husband Dr. William Lozinger in Northampton and has brought many years of experience to our Center.
Our Staff
Our SarahCare® Center prides itself on the experience and qualifications of its staff. Our staff includes:
- Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses: to administer prescribed medications, provide educational programs, manage day-to-day health needs, and attend to emergencies.
- Social Workers: to provide family support and assist with plans of care.
- Activities Professionals: to conduct personalized activity programs to keep Participants stimulated, engaged and socialization with others their age.
- Personal Care Assistants/Activity Assistants:
- to assist with personal care, including bathing, and daily activities.
- Dietary Consultants: to assist with meal plans and special diets.
- Professional Contractors: HCR Manorcare OutPatient Therapy provides; physical, occupational and speech therapy services. Piodriatry is provided by Dr. Jennifer Edwards.
