Adult Day Care is a Different Type of Senior Care!
We provide support to spouses, children who care for aging parents and other caregivers. It is well documented that respite makes a caregiver happier, healthier and better equipped to provide continued care. We provide the day time respite and support that is needed without breaking the bank. This also keeps the loved ones who need care at home and in the community longer – possibly eliminating the need for a nursing home admission all together.
A nurse on duty, medication administration, along with much fun and socialization makes day care a wonderful option in senior care. While experts in elder care we also care for those who are younger with such conditions as Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis and who have had strokes. Also, by monitoring chronic illness we help decrease the need for hospital admissions – a benefit for all.
High Quality Care Made Affordable!
We provide quality care, under nursing supervision, in an comfortable upscale environment at a reasonable cost. An eleven hour day that includes a nurse on site, medication administration, meals, snacks and fun social interaction is approximately the same cost as 4 hours of home care. Full time day care, 5 eleven hour days, can be more then a $3,000/month savings compared to assisted living and a perfect fit for the working caregiver.

I had someone coming to my house to watch my mom for 3 years. I was getting very annoyed with anyone because it seemed like they were just sitting with my mom, watching T.V. and talking on their cell phones. I never felt comfortable with someone strange in my home because I felt my privacy was being invaded.
Then I found SARAHCARE – What a blessing. I was able to drop my mom off before work and seeing that I only worked part time I was able to have my afternoons free to get stuff done at home, go out to lunch or shopping with friends or just go home and rest.
I enrolled my mom in August of 2008, I told Sara that I would play it by ear to see if I would be bring her in the winter. Would you believe I was the only one who had their mom in the center on the biggest snow storm of the year?

I Was so very impressed at the total joy, teasing, awareness, respect, competence, laughter, attention and professionalism of you, Sara and your staff.
I think you all have a remarkable gift. These people are very lucky and I am sure they, in their busy life and hardest years, deserve and appreciate the care you all seem to give to naturally. It is an inspiration. I hope we can all have such lovely treatment and experiences as we journey down the road.
You are far above the norm. ……Many Blessings as my Aunt Margorie always signed off Docent Karen Jallos
