Shannon Ross, Executive Director
Shannon has been part of the SarahCare® family since 2003. Her journey started as Activity Director and in June of 2005 was promoted to Executive Director. In 2007 she completed the training process to become a CARF surveyor. Shannon also serves as the Co-Chair of the Conference Committee for the National Adult Day Services Association (NADSA). Shannon has a real passion for the well-being of the seniors we serve and their families and truly enjoy every minute of being in the center.
Libbie Snyder, LPN
Libbie Snyder grew up in the Massillon area. She graduated from Tuslaw high school and Wayne Adult School of Practical Nursing in Smithville, OH. Her nursing career has taken her on many paths, including the former Massillon Community Hospital, Hospitality House and private duty. She has been the blood pressure nurse at the Massillon Family Pharmacy for 18 years. Libbie has been part of the SarahCare® family since June of 2010. When she isn’t with us during the day, she enjoys sewing, craft shows, flea marketing and gardening.
Brenda Snyder, Activity Director
Brenda grew up in the Massillon area. She graduated from Dalton High School and received her degree in Social Work from the University of Akron. Brenda has worked with the Developmentally Disabled population for 25 years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, scrapbooking, camping, traveling, cooking and baking.
Theresa Mazak, Administrative Assistant
Theresa joined SarahCare® in November of 2010 as the Administrative Assistant. Her hobbies include photography, camping, and animals. She attended Stark State College of Technology where she received her Associate’s Degree in Graphic Arts. She also has a certification in Veterinary Assisting and Animal Care.

Our SarahCare® Center prides itself on the experience and qualifications of its staff. Our staff includes:
- Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses: to administer prescribed medications, provide educational programs, manage day-to-day health needs, and attend to emergencies.
- Social Workers: to provide family support and assist with plans of care.
- Activities Professionals: to conduct personalized activity programs.
- Personal Care Assistants: to assist with personal care, including bathing.
- Dietary Consultants: to assist with meal plans and special diets.
- Professional Contractors: to provide chiropractic, podiatry services; physical, occupational and speech therapy services; massage therapy services.
