Staff Biographies

Alishia Freeman, Executive Director
Alishia is a native Idahoan, born and raised in Boise. Professionally, she was the Director of a child care business for seven years. Before coming to SarahCare, she ran several different volunteer organizations. In March of 2007, Alishia became a full time caregiver for two years for a family member, so she understands what our families go through on a daily basis. “Caring for a loved one who is ill is a difficult and challenging journey, that we do out of love, not just obligation. I know from experience how hard it can be and that taking time out for yourself is one of the most important things you can do. Not only for yourself, but also for your loved one. For me, working at SarahCare is more then just a job. I truly believe that what we do is a great service for our families and am proud to do what I can to help keep loved ones all at home together.”

Charlene Paul, Licensed Practical Nurse
Charlene has been part of the SarahCare of Boise family since January of 2009. She has had a very varied career and has obtained her LPN in Nursing as well as an Assisted Living Administrators license and CPR Instructor Certification. Charlene has 2 children, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is also a foster parent and has been lucky enough to have helped raise 6 children other then her own. She has a small acreage in Eagle, where she enjoys horses, chickens, rabbits, ducks and other critters. Some of our participants have gone to Charlene’s “farm” this last spring to visit all her animals!

Olin Fulk, Food Service Manager
Olin has been with SarahCare since November of 2008. He is a parent to three daughters and one son.
He enlisted in the United States Air Force and served 6 years as a security policeman. When Olin returned to civilian life he worked as a correctional officer for 8 years prior to moving to Idaho. He came to Idaho in 2005 because of the family atmosphere and quality of life for his children and himself. When he came to SarahCare of Boise, he found the job satisfaction that he had always lacked in former employment. “It is an honor and a pleasure to be able to work with our participants at SarahCare. I look forward in taking part in their lives for a very long time to come.”
