A Day At SarahCare - Ancillary Services

PHYSICIAN SUPPORT

Ancillary care refers to the wide range of healthcare services provided to support the work of a participant’s primary physician.

To aid in monitoring the health of your loved one, many SarahCare centers partner with healthcare professionals in their local area to provide basic podiatry, audiology and optometry services.

Our participants, especially those who are diabetic, find the quarterly podiatry check-ups help keep their feet in tip top shape. Twice yearly screenings by audiologists and optometrists help alert us to changes that could present problems for your loved one.

SarahCare provides these services in our centers because we know that many seniors often put off these visits for one reason or another. Bad weather, the need for transportation, and mobility issues can play a part in not wanting to go to an appointment.
