Nursing Services
While your loved one enjoys their day at SarahCare, our center nurses provide the care and monitoring they need on a regular basis. Care is provided in the privacy of our nurse’s clinic.
Our centers are staffed with the most qualified Registered and/or Licensed Nurses in the field. They are often specially certified and trained to work with issues related to aging and are passionate about caring for seniors.
Nursing services that are offered include:
- medication administration and/or oversight
- weights and vitals taken regularly
- diabetic care, feeding tubes, dressing changes
- And many other services that are needed by you and your loved one’s doctors.

Staffing
SarahCare® prides themselves on the professional qualifications of their staff.
Registered and Licensed Nurses: to administer prescribed medications, provide educational programs, manage day-to-day health needs, and attend to emergencies.
Social Workers: to provide family support and assist with plans of care.
Activities Professionals: to conduct personalized activity programs.
Nursing Assistants: to assist with personal care.
Dietary Consultant: to assist with meal plans and special diets.
Meals
Meals are the perfect time for friends to socialize and celebrate, sharing memories and exchanging jokes. Our beautiful dining rooms and delicious food help turn each meal into a special event.
Delicious and Nutritious at No Extra Cost
At Sarahcae®, a light breakfast, a delicious catered lunch, and afternoon snack included in the daily rate. Special diets are easily accommodated and assistance at meal time is always available.
Hosting Family Celebrations
We can also host family events, like a Birthdays or Mother’s Day, within the center’s private dining room. Your family will be able to celebrate with your loved one in the center during these special times.
Luncheon Events
In a very popular program called Stepping Out with SarahCare® the center makes regular field trips to restaurants for something really different for lunch.
Transportation
Many of our centers provide door to door transportation from our centers in the morning and evening.
In addition, the centers are happy to arrange local senior transportation and if necessary, help you with the required paperwork.
We also locate our centers near retail and business centers so dropping off and picking up are convenient for you on the way to work or to do errands.

Activities
We design our activities holistically around our participant’s interests and abilities.
SarahCare® creates a custom program of individual and group activities that considers the whole person as an individual including social, emotional, spiritual, physical, and creative needs.
Our activities are innovative and different. It’s not just a card room:
- Wii contests and Wii physical therapy
- Volunteering for local charities while at the centers
- Pet Therapy
- Indoor golfing on resort-style putting greens
- Outdoor picnics on our patio with gardening and barbecue
- Computers for memory enhancement programs or keeping in touch with grandchildren on Facebook.
- And much more.
And special clubs and social groups around your loved one’s interest and friends:
- Men’s Grill Room – Watch the football game and play cards
- Out to Lunch Bunch – Lunch club and movie for the more independent participant
- Book Club – Opportunity to discuss books and current events, often with an invited lecturer.
And Special Programs like brain fitness and inter-generational programs that are designed on the latest research for effectiveness.
Salon and Spa Services
Our centers have a unisex beauty salon staffed by outside beauticians familiar with handling the special needs of seniors.
Your loved one can enjoy having their hair cut and styled, or receive a manicure. Many centers also offer pedicures and chair massages.
For center participants, regular beauty appointments can be scheduled with the beauty salon through the center. It gives your loved one just one more special reason to attend.
